This is our 20th wedding season. For the family sitting across from us, it is the only one.

They have been picturing this since their daughter was small. Someone in that room has been putting money aside for it for years. And on the day there is a mother who walks in and sees the mandap lit for the first time, and whatever she feels in that second is the only review that actually matters.

That is the real job. Not the timeline, not the vendor list. Making sure that one moment lands the way they have been imagining it.

20 years in, we still plan every event as if it is the only one on our calendar.

Tathastu Events is a Lucknow-based event management and planning company, founded in 2006 by Tarun Dhameja. We plan and execute weddings, corporate events, exhibitions, concerts, and social celebrations across Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. From lighting and sound to décor, production, hospitality, and on-ground coordination, we take care of every element.

Most event companies subcontract. We never do that.

Ask a planner in Lucknow who is actually running your event and you usually get a list. A decor vendor. A sound vendor. A lighting contractor. Somebody else for hospitality. You pay one company and end up dealing with six.

At Tathastu that list is one name.

One team plans and runs every part of your event, with equipment we own. When something has to change at eleven at night, there is no vendor to chase and nobody to blame. There is one team, and it is already standing there.

It is also why families call us back for the second wedding in the house.

How Your Event Actually Flows

You tell us the date and the scale. We tell you honestly what it will cost.

Planning and design

Decor concepts, drawings, a function-by-function schedule and a written costing.

We build it, with a full technical rehearsal before the first guest.

Questions people actually ask

What does Tathastu Events do?

Tathastu Events is an event management company in Lucknow. We plan and execute weddings, corporate events, exhibitions, concerts and private celebrations. Founded in 2006, we have been delivering events in Lucknow ever since, covering production, decor, sound and lighting.

How far in advance should I book?

For a full wedding, six to nine months gives us the most room, particularly if the venue is not locked yet. We have also delivered complete weddings on six weeks’ notice. If your date is close, call us and we will tell you honestly whether we can do it properly.

Do you handle destination weddings?

Yes. We have executed weddings across Uttar Pradesh and outside the state, including venues in Uttarakhand. Our crew and equipment travel with the event.

Do you take on smaller events?

Yes. We design to the scale of the event rather than the other way round. A 150-guest reception gets the same team and the same planning process as a 3,000-guest wedding.

Who will I actually be dealing with?

One point of contact from the first meeting to the last function. For most families that is Rishita Srivastava, who directs events and client relationships. Tarun Dhameja, our founder, is usually on site as well.

Which areas do you cover?

Lucknow and the surrounding districts of Uttar Pradesh, including Lakhimpur, Sitapur, Barabanki and Kanpur. We also travel for destination events.
